The scope of work included the construction of the airfield; taxiways; crossover; and two miles of entrance road, which included approximately 300,000 CYS of mass excavation. Also included was the installation of all primary phone and power lines; layout and grading of 40,000 TNS of ABC to +/ 3/8"; installation of 56,000 SYS of asphalt paving; and the seeding of 50 acres. The work included all QC,QA, Environmental protection required by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers who oversaw the construction. |
